What is going on? I'm at Disney this week... 1/2 business, 1/2 family vacation, and after a few much deserved Jameson Irish whiskies...I F-ed up and started watching the South Florida vs Pitt game...
Okay..2 things popped out to me in this game...
1. I'm watching 2 teams that ND pushed....yes PUSHED all over the field...
2. With all that is Holy, how did we lose to one and barely beat the other?
That's my point people, it's gut check time in a MAJOR way!...
I know where Kelly is taking this ship...I know what the cargo is supposed to look like...
I know the shipping agenda and the destination...but come on!..
PLAY LIKE THE PIPE HITTING MF'ers THAT I KNOW YOU CAN BE!
Look...I'm a student of the game...
I watch other programs schedule 3 or 4 cupcakes a year... Win maybe 9 or 10 games and think they are elite!
(I wish we could do this!)
Then play the SEC in a bowl, get killed and say "hey...we just didn't show up!"
NO!...
You showed up and got that ass kicked!...
That is not our goal!... We want the big time match ups!... We want a top 5 strength of schedule after the first four games of the year!...
We're not looking to dodge ANYONE!...
That my friends is what becoming Champions is all about!... And who better to know, than the team with the most National Championships of any team in college football!
FIRST THINGS FIRST!

When at the end of the day, take a look at him, he was the kid that was picked last for kick ball in elementary school!
But this fan base is it's own worst enemy!
It's been over 2 decades since we've been ELITE!
Now when I say "elite" I don't mean the "keep the money in the state", play cupcakes to pad our schedule, win 9 or 10 elite!...
But truly DOMINANT!
Kick your A$$, make no excuse...you schedule'em we'll beat'em ELITE!
But it's coming!
It's coming in the form of Aaron Lynch...it's coming in the speed of Cierre Wood... It's coming in the recruitment and development of Ronald Darby!..and the trail is being blazed by:

But you know what?

So let's take it one week at a time!...
This is the next test...the next battle...the next STATEMENT!
So why don't we kick the living hell outta PURDUE, and start that statement the right way!
Because if a team that is 2-1, with huge wins over Middle Tenn by 3!
A loss to RICE?...
Followed up by a "signature win" against South East Missouri?
Is tough?...then we got bigger problems to figure out!...
So hang that flag this Saturday, talk that sh#t at the gym in the morning, but realize that the team we all love must NUT UP OR SHUT UP come Saturday!
